The purpose of this study is to develop an effective wheel chair model which operates with minimal effort. The MMA2260D Micro machined accelerometer sensing element is used in the project. Based on the slight finger sweat the sensor develops a control voltage, which in turn is applied to the sleeve system 9, and the direction of the wheel chair is changed accordingly. This greatly minimizes the material effort needed to operate the wheel chair. People with partial derivative paralysis, dumb people can also use of this wheel chair model effectively.
